Demont Family Swim School

I've been very pleased with Demont! My older son (7yo) is easily excitable and I was nervous about swim lessons (mostly because he stops listening and just splashes around). The Demont instructors have been SO patient with him while still motivating him to progress through the levels at a good pace. I appreciate their entire approach to breaking down swimming into subsets of skills that build on one another. I definitely recommend them!

An absolutely wonderful first swimming experience for my little water baby. The philosophy is thoughtful and child-centered, and it’s amazing to see how confident and happy the kids are in the water. Everyone we’ve worked with has been kind and helpful, but Coach Chris P is a standout—gentle, patient, and intuitive, and great at explaining the intention behind each fun activity. We couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to swimming, and we’re so grateful for an experience that centers connection, trust, and real skill-building—while keeping it fun!

This place is wonderful!! We had a great experience at this swim school. My child went from barely wanting to get her face wet to feeling confident in the water and trying different swim styles. Every instructor is so kind, positive, and professional. High-quality instruction in a supportive environment. I definitely recommend this place!

There aren’t enough good words in the dictionary to describe Demont. We have been going for about 2 consecutive years and it’s worth every single penny. I recently had transferred my autistic toddler into the adaptive parent support class and it was such a great experience. As a mom of a special needs kiddo, although the staff was always the absolute best, I always felt very anxious amongst my fellow parents in the pool during class if my kiddo started to stim or have a meltdown. I can’t explain how good it felt to be with parents in the same boat in a class together. They really do their best to take care of every family and kiddo better than just a business, but like extended family that genuinely cares about your experience. I am forever grateful to Demont for giving us a place once a week where we are all happy and having a good time as a family. We’ve always had great experiences with every coach we’ve worked with, and the manager is just the absolute best. Again, very grateful for the very human level that they run this business on. Very compassionate, empathetic, understanding, and flexible.

It's been a great experience so far. Our 4 year old has been making great progress over the last 6 months. He joined in the tadpole class and has now graduated to the gold fish class. The instructors are very friendly with the kids. The techniques they teach the kids are easy for the kids to follow and at the same time you as a parent can see the progress the child is making on a monthly basis with the help of those techniques. The instructor ratio is very effective, it's usually 1:2 or 1:3.
